Graduates from The Birmingham Theatre School, together with
Voices Unlimited - a 76 piece choir, are performing at Arts Fest 2012!

This thought provoking piece was especially commissioned for Arts Fest 2012. The unique collaboration between The Birmingham Theatre School and Voices Unlimited sparked the beginning of the journey, and our intention was to create a piece that fused together the power of song within a story told by actors. The inspiration for the creation has come from the Classic poem “The Horses” written by Edwin Muir.

This poem simply sprang out as a natural starting point for our performance, and we have collaborated in style and form to bring this epic poem to life. The songs have been especially selected to weave the narrative together, telling the story of the end of time. This year of 2012 seemed a poignant message: the day technology failed and Man had to rediscover the origins of Life. Working with Voices Unlimited has created a huge vocal landscape, and we hope this springs to life in the performance!
