Acting for Beginners
Students in our Acting for Beginners course varied greatly this year, and they came together to create some spectacular pieces of drama. Each class allowed students to produce a piece of theatre, showing that the step between rehearsals and even ideas to theatre is not that big. The course led to students overcoming their fear of the stage, as well as encouraging them to show of their newly found skills at every opportunity. Classes were run on a very practical basis, allowing everyone to give it a go and get involved, learning as a result of the fun and exciting exercises that took place.
Each term came to a conclusion with a piece of theatre that allowed students to present their work to friends and family. Each production provided new experiences for students, more details of which can be found below.

Crave
Crave allowed students a chance to experience acting in front of an audience with confidence. It showed how lines within a play fit together, as well as allowing students to perform in the round. The production encouraged students to work together to produce a piece of theatre that showed off what they had learnt in the first term.
