Let the Right one in sees a welcome return to the horror genre for the Part Time Professional Acting Diploma course following on from the success of the stage adaptation of The Exorcist in July 2019.
This production has been produced under difficult times for the arts and entertainment industry as a whole. We are privileged to be able to create and perform this play in a year that has seen so many setbacks.
‘I’m not that. I live on blood. But I am not…that…Can I come in?’
Oskar is a bullied, lonel, teenage boy living with hismother on a housing estate at the edge of town, when a spate of sinister killings rocks the neighbourhood.
Eli is the young girl who has just moved in next door. She doesn’t go to school and never leaves the flat by day. Sensing in each other a kindred spirit, the two become devoted friends. What Oskar doesn’t know is that Eli has been a teenager for a very long time…
Let the Right One In is a dark and visceral coming-of-age vampire love story. Based on the acclaimed novel and film by John Ajvide Lindqvist.
